Daryl Shoff # 750 and Fast Cars
Racing fans in suite at Indianapolis Motor Speedway
If you have ever heard Brothers Daryl Shoff, Mike Galyiano #757 and John Goudy #758 tell stories, that is reason enough to get within ear shot of this group, but the reason in case was to cheer for diver Brother Shoff as he raced his car in the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Grand Prix. In October 2017 Daryl came in third in a very exciting day for his Alpha Sig fans whom also included: Larry Thomas #695, Paul Ruegamer #913, John Stock # 1184 and a few other friends, pit crew and their wives. They enjoyed a suite at the track, lunch and a tour of the pit area.
Rabbet Frazer’s # 869 Second Texas Rendezvous
Farmer, OddBall, Rosie, Barb and Rabbet in Auston, TX
Rabbet (Bob) Frazer and his wife, Barb, regularly travel from Topeka, Kansas to Auston, Texas to visit their daughter. Some of the Texas Brothers and Oddball (Tom Alspaugh) #840 from San Diego have used these occasions to visit with Rabbet and have an ΑΣΦ rendezvous. This year Rosie (Ken Rosokoff) # 834, (still funnier than hell) a childhood friend for Rabbet’s and the instigator of these gatherings, and Farmer (Carl Hall) #1163, a man who has always been ready share a drink and a story or two with an Alpha Sigs, were at the April weekend meeting. Farmer and OddBall played golf, Rabbet told funny stories about Rosie from when they were kids and all ate and drank ourselves silly while laughing at the episodes of our past lives as Alpha Sigs. Barb, Rabbet’s chauffer, put up with The Boys like a champ, but spent much of her time watching NASCAR on her phone😊 Let us know if you are interested in future Texas rendezvous at the email addresses above.
